DIRI academic contest 2021

The Dhammachai International Research Institute (DIRI) is pleased to announce an academic contest on the theme "The Dharmakaya/Dhammakaya that I know." Scholars and students may submit their academic articles to impart the various dimensions of knowledge on the word " Dharmakaya/Dhammakaya." Award winners will receive both prizes and certificates.

The “author’s photo ID” refers to any types of ID that can be used to verify the author’s identity, such as student ID card, faculty member’s ID or the like.

1. The submitted article should be of strict academic integrity and have neither been published nor submitted for publication elsewhere.


2. The article should follow the formats below:
   - length of each article approximately 3,000 – 5,000 words
   - typed in Times New Roman font, 14 pts, 1.5 line spacing
   - citations following the APA 6th style of references and bibliography


3. The article must be electronically submitted in the PDF file format, along with an abstract of 200 – 300 words long, by emailing as attachments to academic@diri.ac.nz


4. The following documents are required to be submitted along with the article and abstract:
4.1. the author’s CV
4.2. a signed copy of the author’s photo ID (see Note 1 for clarification)
4.3. the application form (download here) filled by the author


5. Submission may be done between 1st January to 30th September 2021.

1. The “author’s photo ID” refers to any types of ID that contains the author's photo and can be used to verify the author’s identity and status, such as student ID card, faculty member’s ID or the like.


2. Result of the contest will be announced by 27th October 2021  on DIRI's website and the award winners will be notified by email.


3. The Dhammachai International Research Institute (DIRI) will hold a ceremony to present the winners’ articles in the year 2021. Copyright of articles submitted to the contest belong to the authors and DIRI. Anyone wishing to republish them must first obtain permission from both parties.


4. The award consideration by peer reviewers and DIRI committee is final.
